My Eats for the day
I bought some of this the other day for the first time. I liked it except for the dry feeling in my mouth from the artificial sweetener. I had one of these in my water today when I went to the gym. I was only there for a short time, I went on the elliptical for 32 minutes and burned 336 calories. At least it's exercise. Right? I was about to go on the treadmill but I decided I better check my voice mail at work and I had another client to go to so I had to leave the gym. Oh well at least I got there for as long as I did.
This morning I was hungry so I got myself some oatmeal. This time I used up the baked apple we had the other day, I saved it to use it in my oatmeal because I didn't want to throw it out and I thought it would be good. I am not very good at putting these pictures in order.
My son made these cookies at school. It was a project. He took them home to cook them though. So I cooked them up for him and of course you know me. I had 1+2=3. Certainly way more calories than I burned off at the gym today. But man they were tasty friggers. They were huge too if you can tell by the size in my hand. I couldn't resist since my 11 yr. old made them. He did an excellent job too I must say.
This is my oatmeal I made this morning with the baked apple.
This is the baked apple with sugar, cinnamon and cloves. So I just took all the apple of the peel and scooped up all the cinnamon mixture and put it in the cooked oatmeal. I added some almond meal on top and some more Almond Breeze. It was really good. I was impressed with myself actually to even think of using the apple this way because normally I would of thrown it out in the compost.
For supper we had whole wheat macaroni with cheese. I made mine with a small amount of the cheese sauce and I put a low fat Kraft cheese slice over the top of mine and put it in the oven for a bit. For desert (besides the 3 large cookies) I had fruit salad with cottage cheese. I got the big can of fruit salad at Costco when I was up a couple of weeks ago. By the way I am going up sometime over the weekend as far as I know.
I also had a glass of milk with the cookies. I didn't have any skim milk left so I had to use 2% because I was craving milk with my cookies. Go figure.
I am hoping to not touch another bit of food until tomorrow. I am stuffed now and it's 7:40pm. I will probably be going to bed at a half decent time tonight because I will be getting up early in the AM.
I might have a cup of White Tea (black with no sugar) a little later on.
