By the way;
I've come to a realization about myself, and what I have realized is to me it doesn't matter if I weigh 170 pounds for the rest of my life as long as I eat healthy, exercise at least 3 times a week, don't have high cholesterol, diabetes or any other problems as long as I am happy.
The only thing in my situation is, I shouldn't be over weight because of my back and hip problems. I have arthritis and the weight doesn't help matters. But I've been living with this problem for 18yrs and I've adjusted to my pain so it is just a part of me and how I've learned to live with it.
Sure I would look better with another 20-30 pounds off but if I exercise and eat right 98% of the time, I will consider myself very fortunate to have started this BLBE2 and learned so much from all of you wonderful people. Especially Angiealltheway. I read your blog every evening or first thing in the morning.
Now don't get me wrong, I am definitely not giving up by no meens. I just felt I needed to get that off my chest. (Which, by the way, is still too big for my liking.) LOL. :D

Okay here's the thing. It's great that you're putting any vanity aside when it comes to weight loss because that's how it is for me too. I am also perfectly happy with how I "look" right now. And the fact is, it's obviously not easy to lose weight. You have struggled with back and hip problems for a long time and any doctor will testify that weight loss is THE BEST thing you can do for that first and foremost and it is soo soo true. I think it's great that you are comfortable with your sexy self because 170 for me, is a great weight and was my original goal! I think you should continue your journey to a healthy lifestyle and you are setting a fantastic example for your family which is SUCH an important lesson so early in life :-)
ReplyDeleteArthritis = bad and you know what it can be like when you get older, right?!
