Something else I bought last week.
As a matter of fact there is psyllium in the cereal bars below.

On the box it has in big letters 24% of the recommended daily fiber. There are 5 bars in the box.
Very tasty. This was my snack today in the car while I was driving to my clients house.. I actually ate 2 because I got hungry about 3 hrs. after I ate the first one. I bought them last week. I haven't seen them around before so they must be fairley new. Actually I just noticed on the box it does say 'New' and the NI is as follows: 1 bar 120 calories (35 g)
Fat 2 g
Saturated o.5 g
Trans 0 g
Cholesterol 0mg
Sodium 120 mg
Potassuim 110 mg
Carbs. 26 g
Fiber 6 g
Sugars 8 g
Protein 2 g

This was my supper my hubby made, it was white and brown instant rice with beef stir fry. I thought that was a good idea putting the white rice with the brown rice. He has a
knack for stir fry. It was really good. For dessert I ended up eating a whole Areo bar, but I couldn't help it. One bite lead to two and so on, and so on. I also has a large glass of water with supper.
Breakfast:
Today I made some Delicious oatmeal for breakfast. No pic. though. I only had a half a serving because I wasn't that hungry, I put some flax meal, almond meal, splash vanilla, dash salt, psyllium seed husk and I sprinkled organic sugar over top of hot oatmeal with a bit of skim milk. Man I love that oatmeal with all that stuff in it.
I forgot to mention last week when I bought the Psyllium seed husk, I've used it a few times in my oatmeal so far. I am going to use it in my cereal the next time I have some.
There is 1 calorie in 1 tsp. (2g) of the Psyllium
2 g Fiber (5%)
2 % Iron
2 g Carbohydrates
2 mg sodium
No Fats or Cholesterol
Oh interesting!!! I'd love to hear how that goes! I'm anxious to try "wheat berries" too!
